Chris & Shantih’s Sparkling Scottsdale Engagement

They walked hand in hand toward the pink mountains, red dust kicking up beneath their feet with each step. She knew today was special, because they were celebrating their time together, but she didn’t know just how special this day would become. As they walked down the path, she looked around and admired how beautiful this spot was to her, while he looked for a familiar face in the distance. His sister was waiting under a ramada and keeping out of sight, ready to capture photos of the amazing moments ahead, and Shantih had no idea. His heart pounded in his chest as he tried to keep his hands from shaking, so aware of the sparkling diamond he carried with him, and the one who held his hand. As they walked closer to the steps of the ramada, he turned to her and took a deep breath…

Just a few short months after getting down on one knee, we found ourselves back at Papago Park, but this time for their engagement photos! Cue the confetti! I just love how much this place means to Chris and Shantih; from their dates, proposal, and engagement session, those golden cliffs will always hold a special place in their hearts. And it shone through in their photos! These two were simply glowing the entire time! They met working in Coach, so I knew they would bring their A-game when it came to style, yet I was still blown away by both of their looks! We honestly couldn’t decide which was our favorite, from a flowing white dress and flower crown to a sparkling one paired with his dapper leather jacket and tie. But it’s not only their perfect outfit choices that drew me to love their session so much, but their affection toward each other. Even from the first time we sat down for coffee, I just loved watching these two simply be together. Any time I asked them a question, they would look at each other and smile before answering, and she would gently touch his arm or he would brush her hair behind her ear. They are both truly wonderful people, but they’re even better together. And while I don’t want to give away too much, I’m SO extremely excited for be there for their vows! Let’s just say it’s in another state with golden views 😉 Almost as beautiful as the ones I saw through my lens. Congratulations you two, the big day is getting close and I can’t wait!!
