Alex & Jordan’s Sparkling December Engagement

It was the perfect October day, and his heart raced as she reached inside hollow pumpkins and pulled out puzzle pieces at the bottom. It was the best time of year where the weather can’t quite decide if it wants to transition from Summer to Fall, but you know the exciting seasons are just around the corner. The year was slowly coming to an end, but for Alex & Jordan, a new era was just beginning. She continued to put the puzzle pieces together as he smiled, knowing what message was written in the riddle. When she finished, the lights flipped off to reveal the words, “Will You Marry Me?” in his handwriting with glow-in-the-dark paint, and her stomach filled with butterflies. The lights flipped back on and she looked down to find Jordan on one knee, with the most perfect rose-gold diamond ring in his hands. This was the moment she had dreamed about her whole life, with the man she had prayed to come into her life, and it surpassed anything she had ever felt before. But just wait until the wedding…

Alex & Jordan’s engagement session was one for the books, with a sparkling rose-gold gown that glimmered alongside her dazzling ring and complimented her strawberry hair perfectly. His dark suit was the perfect contrast to her, and both their blue eyes lit up the cloudy winter day. I was shocked that this was their first time having professional pictures taken! Though I’m still skeptical, because, #models. But more than being aesthetically beautiful, the way these two love each other is so incredible to witness. They are so aware that the other is the person they were meant to be with, and from the moment they were born, they were being shaped into the perfect match for each other. Chills. I feel so blessed to have captured this season in their relationship as Alex prepares to serve as a nurse in Africa for the next few months.
