“They sat beneath the cool cover of the trees, lights twinkling above them in the brisk evening air. They talked and smiled in the dim glow of the romantic ambiance, a bouqet of roses on the table in front of them. She thought that surprise was the sweetest one she would get that night, and she could not have been more wrong. The buzz of other romantic conversations hummed around them as their hearts fluttered knowing that this night was already so special. And there, in the beautiful farm surrounded by greenery, he got down on his knee and told her how much he loved her. Through tears they held each other, more joyful than they could have ever imagined possible. The thought of spending the rest of their lives together was indescribable and it’s one that hasn’t left their minds since…”
Fast forward to Joe & Caitlyn’s wedding day, one they’d been dreaming of ever since he slid that sparkling ring on her finger. He stood at the altar with both hands folded in front of him, taking a deep breath as everyone he loved walked toward him down the aisle. He felt the familiar nerves fluttering in his stomach, and the last time he’d been this excited was the night he proposed. Finally, as everyone stood, he saw her white dress fluttering in the distance. She walked toward him with her dad, smiling ear to ear as he wiped tears from his eyes; he’d never seen a more beautiful sight in his life. Every step she took brought them closer to being married, and they both sighed as they tried to take in every sweet moment of this sunny, incredible day. And the rest of the day seemed to fly by as quick as they could blink, and it was more special than either of them could have imagined. I of course, was so thrilled for our golden light that surrounded this beautiful couple during their portraits, representing their dazzling love so perfectly. Caitlyn & Joe, I’m so incredibly happy for you (and jealous of your honeymoon), and I can’t wait to see what the next years bring in your marriage. As beautiful as this day was, here’s to many sunny days ahead!
