Ali & Chris’ Red Wine Engagement

We went right back where it all started, the spot where Ali and Chris met for their first date. The spot where they both knew that something was different this time, where the conversation flowed so easily, and where they unknowingly would never be apart again from that day forward. Not to mention they were able to indulge in their favorite red wine together! She had even invited him to meet her friends that same night, and she never had done that before Chris. Even her fiends knew he was different, and he was special because of this! And the next day, they spent the Super Bowl together, and it was as if they had known each other for years. Instead of nice to meet you, it seemed more like, oh, there you are. I’ve been waiting for you…

We walked through the crowds of people on the streets of downtown Tempe, the ASU fans riled up for the game, and we came up to Postino, their first date spot. There were hundreds of people around, dressed head to toe in maroon and gold, but you would never know there were so many people based off of their photos! It was as if they were the only two in the world, not caring about the many eyes on them and a LITERAL marching band that passed us by. We were laughing so hard and even caught a bit of it on video. I just love their sense of humor and the fact that most people would be stressed shooting photos surrounded by crowds of rowdy people, but they thought it was hilarious! If you two ever want to shoot a session in Disneyland, sign. me. up! 😉 We then headed over to Papago Park and finished out their photos in the desert sunset. They glowed in the light as they poured their favorite bottle of red wine, not sipping too much to avoid the red teeth, but just enough for it to be so sweet and romantic! Sigh. I am so obsessed with Ali and Chris. I can’t wait to be a part of their Gold Canyon wedding next Spring, and to share many more laughs together (and witness many more wine toasts).
