The dance floor was packed with everyone they loved most in the world. The lights were low and the music played as everyone around them danced, jumped, and laughed with elation to celebrate Emma and Taylor. They had been married for only a couple of hours, but they knew no greater happiness than this feeling, and it was pure magic. As the music slowed down while couples and friends paired off to sway together, Taylor pulled Emma in closed as she wrapped her arms around his neck, their foreheads pressed together with their eyes closed. They danced like this as if the entire room was moving in slow motion, their hearts beating as one as they shared a sweet kiss that no one else seemed to catch. And even though the reception hall was filled with 200 people, these two seemed as they were the only ones there, taking in every sweet moment as the minutes of their wedding day ticked by faster than they ever thought time could fly. I must have been the only person to witness this beautiful moment on the dance floor, and it’s one I’ll always remember about this amazing day, even though it was filled with so many other sweet embraces. But for some reason, this one stuck with me. Maybe because amidst the chaos, it seemed so simple; just two people in love who promised to share their forever together. Whatever the reason, I’m so glad it stuck, because it’s how I’ll always see these two together!
Emma & Taylor’s wedding was filled with so much emerald green and modern beauty, I kept waiting for someone to pinch me! I had the pleasure of capturing Emma’s sister’s wedding last year, so the fact that I was able to see everyone again was such a gift! I love these people! And to see all the little ring bearer’s growing up, and adding more into the mix made my heart so happy! What a privilege to be included into not only one, but two weddings in this family! And it was the perfect way to cap off this season in their lives as Emma was the fourth and final daughter to get married. As her parents claimed her to be the explanation point at the end of their family, this wedding seemed to be the same in their four family weddings (!) And Emma designed her own wedding dress through Anomalie where she works, talk about so many special aspects to this day! Emma and Taylor, it was such an honor to witness you see each other for the first time, hold each other, take your vows, jump the broom, all of it. I will always remember the way you smiled on this day, and I hope you will too. Always toast champagne together, hold each other this tight, and dance as if no one is watching. Because as fast as your wedding day flew by, the years are just as quick. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Moorman!
