Danielle & Evan’s Four Seasons Desert Wedding

The guitar strummed quietly as everyone waited in anticipation for the big moment. The sun had begun dipping low behind the mountains, giving sweet relief from the warm day and dusting everything in a golden glow. Everyone rose to their feet and turned around to face the steps. A glimpse of white peeked through the brush as her father guided her down, on step at a time, careful not to let her fall. Just as he did when she took her first steps, holding her tight and glancing at her smiling face when she wasn’t looking. They made it to the bottom of the staircase, and everyone’s eyes were on her as she came around the corner. But hers were locked on his. And as she walked toward him, his face lit up and a smile rose from his cheeks and spilled out of his loving brown eyes. They touched hands, and began their new forever together in front of everyone they loved most…

Danielle & Evan’s destination desert wedding was nothing short of breath-taking, and the ladies with Some Like It Classic knocked this fiesta out of the park! All the way from New York City, these two created the most special day in their own oasis, and I was so blessed to be a part of it! From a sweet little donkey to sparkling fireworks, no detail was spared in creating pure magic. And their flowers! I could have commented on them 100 times, I was obsessed! One of many special moments to me was later in the evening when they shared their first dance as husband and wife. “I need your loving, darling, wanna hold you close.” The words they mouth to each other as everyone huddled around the dance floor, whispering in hushed voices as the newlyweds swayed to the music. These two love each other so sweetly, so genuinely; it was so hard not to smile the entire day just being near them. I know for a fact that they will be holding each other just as close through every phase that life has to offer, and I can’t wait for it to unfold. But for now I’ll always remember this beautiful day in the Arizona sun, reminding everyone how tender love truly is. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Ladensack, your breezy wedding simply blew me away! 😉
