They walked through the crowded tables hand-in-hand, having only been married for a matter of minutes. The sun was glowing through her blonde curls and the music began, while everyone smiled in their direction and cheered as they began their first dance as husband and wife. It was a familiar song to them, and brought them back to the night he proposed as they held each other tight. The wind blew through her hair and her dressed kicked up along with the newlyweds, dancing and fluttering with every twirl. They would alternate between swaying cheek-to-cheek so close in each other’s arms, then he would lead her into a beautiful display of spinning white and navy blue. It was so effortless to them, so natural to dance together, and it made me realize that they will be able to go dancing for the rest of their lives, just like they did on their wedding day. And even when they grow into their 50’s and 60’s, and their kids will be all grown up, they will always have this special thing that they can do together. Dancing through life, what a romantic notion!
Bailee & Jake’s wedding day could not have been more beautiful and bright, and I can’t believe I was lucky enough to be a part of it! From the moment I met these two for coffee in February, I new their wedding would be so unique to them, and that their families and friends would make it such a blast. Even their sweet puppy was included in their ceremony, making it so perfect for their personalities, and I got to love on his little face all evening at the reception. Happy photographer over here! I was so in love with every detail (and every flower) from their Spring decor, and I know their guests were too! And it. was. windy. But these two rocked out their photos like models, and Bailee’s veil fluttered in just the right angles to make for some beautiful shots! Even if it almost pulled her hair out…Bailee you are a trooper! I am so extremely happy for these two, and I know their marriage will be just as stunningly colorful as their big day was. Their love is so pure, and I know they’ll be dancing together through every year of the new life they’ve created together. I can’t wait for them to experience all the happiness that marriage brings! Congratulations Bailee and Jake!
