Paige & Bryan’s Paseo Wedding

They had barely been married for twenty minutes. The dust they kicked up from beneath their feet swirled into the sunset in an orange haze, mimicking the light beaming through her cascading veil. Twilight was fast approaching, and the sun was sinking low into the western horizon as the silhouette of saguaros towered in the distance. Adorned on her bouquet were the five faces of those who presence was felt in the warm sunshine, with every gust of wind that blew through their hair (there were many that day), reminding Paige and Bryan that their loved ones were there, and that they never really left. Everything was glowing with a golden luminance that beamed through every leaf and every blade of grass…It was so beautiful. But what outshined even the most ethereal scenery surrounding them was their love for each other, and the joy that emulated out of their fingertips with every touch. Their laughter trailed off into the breeze that carried it beyond where they stood, and it truly was such a privilege to witness.

Paige and Bryan’s wedding day was special in so many ways, but my favorite surprise was learning that they are expecting a baby next year! Ahhh! We even got to sneak in some “maternity-like” shots in their bridal portraits, and it made my heart so incredibly happy. Not only am I so elated for their union, but I can’t wait for them to experience parenthood together in this new and amazing chapter of their story. They are going to be the best parents! The care and thoughtfulness of every stunning detail on their big day was so admirable and beautiful, and I can’t wait to see them carry that care over into the life of their baby. All the happy tears! Paige and Bryan, thank you for letting me have a small peek into your happiness, even if just for a week while you were in town. Never forget the golden sunset that day, the strong breeze, the nerves, the excitement, and the warmth that surrounded you. It will follow you wherever you go. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Perez (and baby Perez)!
