Kate & Andrew’s Paradise Valley Wedding

The candles flickered and ice shifted in glasses among the electric hum of voices belonging to those who hadn’t seen each other in far too long. The clinking of forks on champagne flutes could be heard as the father of the bride took a microphone in one hand and a drink in the other while standing next to the newlyweds, Kate and Andrew. He gave his speech to a hushed room, reminiscing on when Kate was a little girl, and how he would read Where the Wild Things Are to her at bedtime, and she would excitedly shout in her tiny voice, “Let the Wild Rumpus start!” His eyes were glassy with so many memories of the past and elation for the future, along with Kate’s mom who beamed through it all. The room roared with laughter and sighed in the sweet moments, and the bride and groom smiled with blushing cheeks. It was such a special moment for a father to share with his only daughter and his new son. At the end of his speech, he raised his glass along with everyone in the room and excitedly exclaimed, “Let the Wild Rumpus start!” The room erupted and the wildest dance party imaginable began!

Kate and Andrew’s wedding day was something out of a fairy tale! Fluffy white flowers against classic black dresses and suits, greenery draped from chandeliers, sparklers that reached the ceiling, and the most beautiful couple to capture. I could have pinched myself at those aspects alone, but what made my heart happier than anything was how much love surrounded Kate and Andrew on their big day. You know you have so much support in your corner when the reception hall is absolutely PACKED! And the fact that the couple wrote a letter to every single one of their many guests shows how much care went into this day. The party was incredible, with a live saxophone player on the dance floor included! I left this celebration with ringing ears and a huge smile, and I know everyone else did too. Kate and Andrew, I can’t believe I was able to be there for not only your special ceremony, but your dream day as well. I cannot wait to see what’s in store for your future, and always remember: you are married to your best friend, always take a breath 😉 and enjoy the ride. Cheers to the Hayes!
