Jaci & Ryan’s Natural Wedding in the Woods

The lush trees dipped their branches toward Jaci and Ryan, almost as if they were drawn to their intoxicating affection to one another, drinking in their love like a Spring rainstorm. It was impossible for everyone around these two not to do the same, and their smiles mirror each other so perfectly, creating a ripple effect of grins between every nose and chin. As horses kicked up dust in the distance, we snapped some photos by the water in the cool shade, giddy that they had just officially tied the knot. The cottonwood leaves rustled in the breeze as it snowed tiny whips of cloud-like seeds that danced around us hypnotically. Think ‘Colors of the Wind’ in Pocahontas and you’d be barely close to how magical this day really was…

Ryan and Jaci’s wedding was an absolute dream, almost a beautiful as their sweet embraces and kind hearts. I can honestly say that I have been so blessed and spoiled by these two, and I will never forget the incredible memories we’ve shared in the past year. I was able to be there for their enchanting Autumn engagement sessionand so many other unforgettable moments that I will cherish forever. I was there when they sat around the table while their closest family members gave them well wishes individually, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. How have I become so lucky that I not only get to meet such an incredible couple, and watch them grow in this season of their lives on a more personal level than people they’ve known for years? I’m so, so grateful. Their day was just as they imagined it to be, and looking back at what Jaci described, I can’t help but smile, knowing that it exceeded their expectations.

“The venue we chose for our wedding was a huge deal, because we both love the outdoors and the simplicity and beauty of the landscape around us. The ranch is located within the mountains, right near Oak Creek and several beautiful wineries. The wind in the trees, the clean, crisp air and the greenery surrounding the entire property made us fall in love with the place!

Ryan and I have planned the entire wedding on our own, and have worked extremely hard for the past 8 months getting things together for the big day! Every single detail has been hand-made/painted by myself or Ryan. Every sign, box, decoration, and even the chuppah has been hand-made! We are so very proud of our hard work and can not wait to show it off.

Our ideal wedding will be a relaxing, comforting and beautiful outdoor environment with our closest family and friends around to help us celebrate the best day of our lives. We can not wait to walk down the aisle together as husband and wife and spend the evening dancing under the stars.” -Jaci

Congratulations you two, I’m so elated that your day was everything you wanted and more! #welcometotheblockparty
