They walked hand in hand down the paved path toward the red rocks, the sun beaming from the west as we laughed and shared about life since we last spoke. We talked about their wedding day and how it felt so close yet so far, and the excitement for our shoot grew with every step. We made our way into the shadows of the mountains, the temperature dipping and the light bouncing off every pastel pink rock with a luminosity that reflected their beautiful partnership. Dave kept making Margi laugh, he just couldn’t help it, and she would close her eyes and smile and joke for him to stop, though it wouldn’t be them if they weren’t laughing! We chased the sunset down the dirt paths that sloped down the hills, every plant radiating a golden green that framed they embraces with pure magic. The shoot concluded with the sun dipping below the horizontal, and the red mountains transformed into a deep coral dream. It was the most wonderful evening capturing this small chapter in their story, and just a preview of what’s to come on their wedding day! I know I can’t wait until then, and they’re so ready for the day to be here! Margi and Dave, thank you for an incredible evening filled with so much joy and excitement. October will be here before we know it! Congratulations!
