Kate & Andrew’s Sunny Fall Engagement Session

It was a beautifully sunny July day in Colorado as Kate’s family and Andrew enjoyed themselves together on a hike with the most breath-taking views. The sun was high above their heads, and Andrew walked a ways ahead of them with their fur baby, River. Kate enjoyed the stunning sights with her family, while in no rush, while Andrew’s heart was racing as he and River distanced themselves far ahead of the group near a barn. He took out a small chalkboard and quickly wrote down a message for Kate to read from their beloved dog, to her. He fastened the chalkboard sign around River’s neck, then nervously waited for Kate and her family to catch up…

Kate could see them in the distance, and stepped closer and closer, finally reaching her two loves. She read the note on River’s neck: “Mom, will you marry dad?” and Andrew got down on one knee and proposed. She couldn’t say yes fast enough! And her family was right there to witness this beautiful moment, one they had only dreamed of for their daughter since she was small. He slid the stunning emerald cut ring on her finger as everyone smiled and laughed while Kate and Andrew hugged and couldn’t believe how excited they were to marry each other. And later, for their session with me, we got to celebrate that even more! Our time together was an absolute dream, and I cannot wait to see these two become husband and wife! Kate and Andrew, this next year is going to be so amazing, and I know the big day will be here before we know it. I SO look forward to witnessing this next season in your lives.
