Amber & Juan’s Peach Grove Engagement

She was 14 years old when they fell in love. They were both in high school, he was a senior, and it seemed that their hearts hoped they would be together forever, as many young hearts truly believe. And in this case, they were actually right.

Amber and Juan had been blissfully dating for a couple months, and they were attending a high school social at Universal City Walk at Universal Studios in Hollywood. It was here that they fell in love, unaware they would be back years later in the same spot, with a surprise up Juan’s sleeve….

The two had been lived in California when they met, and when her family moved to Arizona, they kept their relationship long distance for six years. He planned their anniversary at the Universal Studios theme park, where they had actually never been, and they spent the day experiencing it for the first time together (being Harry Potter fans, they were so excited). After a wonderful day spent laughing and enjoying this special time together, they headed over to the City Walk. They walked the strip all the way down to the end into a big clearing in from of the Hard Rock restaurant, and his heart was pounding knowing what the next few minutes would hold. They were holding hands, and as they walked, he pulled her back and took her off guard. Here, in the place where they fell in love, Juan got down one knee and asked Amber to spend the rest of their lives together! It was the happiest moment of their lives, in a place that holds so much meaning and memory from their high school years. It was perfect!

Amber and Juan are the absolute sweetest couple, and our time together at their engagement session was so incredibly special! They’re so natural and basically models, my job could not have been easier! And I can’t wait to capture their beautiful wedding in this spot in the Spring! I just love their hearts, their love, and their genuinely kind sprits together and individually. Amber and Juan, I’m so elated for you and how special it is to have so many meaningful places to visit and celebrate your love. You two were clearly and simply meant to be together, and that’s so rare to find so early in life. And I can’t wait to see you grow old together and watch your marriage grow and thrive.
