Madison & Evan’s Modern Greenery Wedding

“I never thought I’d get to have a wedding like this.

Madison and Evan looked around the room that was filled with those they love, overcome with gratitude and disbelief that it had actually happened. They got married during one of the craziest times to get married: during a worldwide pandemic. They knew there was a chance that Covid might take this specific wedding date away from them, but they never let that stop them from pushing forward, researching, making tough decisions, and pursuing their deepest wish to become husband and wife in their own perfect way. So as they took in the faces of those surrounding them on this, their wedding day (and her parent’s anniversary), she couldn’t help but let the tears fall. It just didn’t seem real and almost too good to be true. But it was real, it was true, and now they get to relive the memory of a day filled with laughter, dancing, and unconditional love. Love won. And when Madison spoke the words, “I never thought I’d get a wedding like this“, she wasn’t referring to the pandemic or the worry and stress of the year. She was referring to the village who surrounded them in support through it all, the stunning details amidst gold flickering candles, the pure euphoric bliss of becoming husband and wife. This was everything they had dreamed of and more.

Madison and Evan’s beautiful wedding was the first one I had shot since the pandemic hit, and since finding out I was pregnant! And shooting it at 36 weeks, as you could guess, had me feeling all the emotions (and body aches, worth it)! I cried more than I ever had during the father/daughter dance and speech, knowing how special that will be for us to be able to do that twice one day…even thinking about it now is getting me so emotional! I love it so much. This day was filled with so many sweet moments like that, and equally hilarious ones that showed just how much this group rolls with the punches. From a cardboard cutout of the best man to a dance party/volleyball balloon tournament, I was so in love with this day. This is how your wedding SHOULD be – however you want it to be! Madison and Evan, I’m so incredibly happy for you and that you were able to have your amazing vision come to life. You two are so special and I know you will have the most fulfilling marriage that will withstand whatever life throws at you. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Loeffler!
