Jenn & Nick’s Intimate Mini Wedding

They stood facing one another, their hands gripped together as her white veil fluttered behind her in the breeze. The cliffs of Camelback Mountain towered behind them in the distance, the pink and orange rocks creating a jaw-dropping backdrop that showcased the most beautiful aspects of the Arizona desert. White roses hung on the arbor above their heads, contrasting the mountains and painting a picture of timeless romance as Jenn and Nick said their vows. They looked at each other with such fondness, such gratitude, and tears fell as their hearts then became one, forever. Perhaps one of the sweetest aspects of this moment was that her kids, Ty and Tatum, stood next to them throughout the ceremony. And they were so excited. It showed with every part of their smiles, and their bond with Nick was so apparent and so beautiful. And as the bride and groom sealed their ceremony with their first kiss as husband and wife, Ty stood in front of them to take in the moment and Tatum turned to the congregation with the biggest smile I’ve ever seen! My heart was an absolute puddle, and that was just one of many moments that took my breath away that day.

Jenn and Nick made it a point to be sure their wedding was intimate, relaxed, and stress-free. And it was wonderful. The young kids played in the grass while their parents laughed and chatted, and the small number of guests all had their chance to spend time with the bride and groom. Everyone was enjoying themselves, and the kiddos had us laughing so hard! Ty even gave a speech where he was sure to mention their dog who was at home, and we had a teeny wedding crasher (about two years old) on the dance floor from the restaurant next door that had us rolling. She had some serious moves! By the end of the night, I couldn’t help but smile thinking back on how truly amazing this wedding was, from the Hawaii-like weather to the relaxing nature of the day. Jenn and Nick, I’m so grateful that I was able to be a part of this important time in your lives, and I will never forget our time together. I can’t wait to see your future unfold and watch your beautiful family grow up. Cheers to all the happiness you have and deserve!
