Jason & Courtney’s Romantic Country Club Wedding

The sun’s glow radiated through the evening with a golden glimmer that could only have been designed from the heavens. In each of their hands, with their ring fingers still bare, they held a delicate strand of rope, twisting them together to form one unified braid. Of the three strands, the first represented Jason, the second was Courtney, and the third was God, reminding them to keep him at the center of their marriage. The braid will whisper daily that each delicate strand is weak on its own, but together they can withstand the strongest of storms. And as they symbolically intertwined their ropes together, the children quieted and the birds’ chirping grew soft. It was a sanctified gesture, and I was able to witness it up close, right next to them as rest of their families quitely watched through smiles. How have I become so fortunate to constantly be a part of these life-changing moments? I could drink in an instance like this only once and be completely thankful, but I get to share them with amazing people like Jason and Courtney all the time. And just as I have been given this incredible opportunity, I have been given their even more incredible friendship.

Courtney’s favorite word and meaning is Faith, and she and Jason always say, “Forever And Ever To Heaven, Amen.” This is because the first letter of each of those words sounds out FAETH. They like to think that these little things are signs from God, so they hold tremendous meaning in their relationship. Having faith means that you trust God’s plan for your life, no matter what that means, and I’ve never seen a family express it more than the Kells. They felt so grateful to spend this sacred day with Jason’s dad, and it was a celebration that took my breath away. Through happy and sad tears, they took in every moment like a breath of gratitude, so elated to hear his jokes and return his smile on this reverend day. It was truly an honor to preserve this incredible blessing in the Kells’ lives, and I’m so extremely thankful to have met them. Jason and Courtney, never lose your sweet, genuine love for not only each other, but everyone you surround yourselves with. You have hearts of gold, and you give a lasting impression on everyone you meet. Never lose the enchanting warmth you share for each other and your families, for it gives others faith that love can truly last forever and ever to heaven. Because it can, and it will.
