Angie & Ryan’s Autumn Sedona Wedding

They had just  taken their first steps as husband and wife. Minutes ago, they held hands and faced each other in front of their closest friends and family, the red rocks behind them glowing in the sun as if it was a scene from a painting. The trees were just barely starting to transform into a vibrant yellow, and the guitar strummed softly throughout their ceremony. Angie’s back was to the sun, giving her veil an ethereal glow as it danced so slightly in the breeze behind her. After many tears and surprises, Ryan’s father, who was officiating, pronounced them husband and wife! Ryan spun Angie into a low dip as they kissed, followed by a sweet hugs and smiles that they couldn’t erase if they tried. They walked up the aisle as a married couple, holding hands and laughing as what just happened sunk in. This was such an incredible moment that simply couldn’t be topped, or so she thought…as they prepared to sign the marriage license, Ryan’s little daughter, Rose, came up to Angie and pulled on her hand to bring her face a little closer to her own. “You’re finally a Wichman!” she giggled as Angie placed her hand over her own mouth. Tears started spilling from Angie’s cheeks while she smiled, treasuring Rose’s words as they meant so much coming from the little girl who was now officially a part of her family. Angie loves Rose as her own, so it was an amazing moment to witness such a sweet little girl show her excitement to gain Angie as a permanent part of her life. Cue all the tears!

This day was honestly one of the most relaxed weddings I’ve ever been a part of, and it was so incredibly refreshing and beautiful to witness. There was absolutely no stress, no sense of rush, and every moment was able to be felt on the deepest level possible. This is the way it should be, my friends. A couple taking in every aspect of their special day, letting tears fall if they felt the need, holding each other as long as they wanted, laughing a little harder than usual. Just amazing. Not to mention the incredible mountains of Sedona that served as a backdrop to the entire day, and the perfect temperature that came along with it! And their reception was so romantic beneath a white tent with pops of rose gold on every table, my favorite! Angie and Ryan, I can’t help but smile when I think of the love that surrounded you for you Sedona fairy tale. You two are so sweet, such a beautiful couple, and I feel blessed just to know you. I know your life as a little family of three (or more!) will continue to be wonderful, and you deserve all the happiness in the world!
