She walked down to the creek, surrounded by tall trees and and crisp mountain air. Her heart fluttered as she looked for him near their cabin in Flagstaff, after finding a note he left her to “meet him at the park.” As she walked, she wondered what he was planning, not quite realizing what he had up his sleeve…and there he was by the creek, waiting for her as his heart raced with excitement. The water trickled down the stream as the smell of pine surrounded them, and he began to tell her how completely in love with her he is. He then got down on one knee and her suspicion of what was really happening was confirmed. She smiled so big, felt so elated, and couldn’t wait to become his wife forever. She also couldn’t wait to see her family to show them her sparkling ring and share her excitement. But she didn’t have to wait long…they went to dinner that night in downtown Flagstaff and their families were both waiting there as a surprise to her! Just the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard to have such a special moment that only they will remember, followed by a night surrounded by their closest loved ones.
Lisa & Riley are not only the most wonderful new friends, but every photographer’s dream clients, and I’m so blessed to be able to work with them! Her wedding vision is so beautiful, they have wonderful taste, and they are so trusting! Not to mention they are so incredibly sweet and warm to be around, and HUGE disney lovers (which I shamelessly admit to being also)! Like, can we go to Disneyland together sometime? Or Disneyworld in your neck of the woods in Florida?! 😉 In all seriousness, Lisa and Riley, it has been such a privilege capturing your engagement photos, and I can’t wait to shoot your wedding next year!
