Lindsay & Nate’s Tuscany Inspired Engagement

The words spelled out in red couldn’t have been more fitting for what he was feeling in that moment as his heart pounded so loudly in his chest, he was sure she could hear it. LOVE. His love for her, for the life they had created together, for her family hiding close by, and for the next step their relationship was about to take. Her eyes scanned the people in the distance, and she focused on a woman in a red top, and she realized it was her mom! Wait? Did that mean…oh my goodness. Her heart began to pound in sync with his as she began to wrap her mind around just what was happening. It was then that her got down on one knee and asked her the most life-changing question she could ever answer, and of course she said yes!

We walked up the stone driveway, forgetting we were in the middle of the Arizona desert, instantly transported to a beautiful Italian villa (elevator included). I absolutely love when my couples think outside the box for their location for their session, and this private estate was the perfect backdrop for everything Lindsay & Nate had imagined for their photos. We explored around the stunning nooks of the building, umbrellas in tote as it began to sprinkle on and off throughout our time together, how European! Between Lindsay’s dreamy dresses and Nate’s pale blue coat, these two looked so stunning individually, but together, they made my jaw drop! Their love is so sweet and they were so comfortable simply holding each other tight underneath a big umbrella as raindrops dripped down the sides. It was so romantic and quiet, and I couldn’t help but think how lucky I am to experience the sweetest moments like these. Lindsay & Nate, I’m so excited for the road ahead of you and for your big day. I can’t wait to follow your real European adventures you take together, and above everything else, your amore!
