Kelsey & Rick’s Luminous Engagement Session

She came out of the bedroom, a little groggy from sleep, and almost didn’t realize there was music playing. He brought her out where pieces of paper were spread and flowers were arranged. They were all the notes they’d written each other in the past, and her heart fluttered when she realized that he not only laid them all out for her to see, but he’d kept them after all this time. She was completely caught off guard because he had just been at the gym while she was sleeping her sickness off, so you can imagine how sweet this gesture out of the blue was to her. But then, he bent down on one knee as her jaw hit the floor, asking her to be his wife in their new home they’d just bought together…Cue the fireworks! Rick had seen a flower truck on his way home from the gym, and took it as a sign to do something he was really wanting to do, but hadn’t found the perfect moment. This was it! And his timing was impeccable to surprise Kelsey and keep their engagement intimate and memorable! LOVE!

Kelsey and Rick’s engagement session was seriously unreal friends! The golden desert light, the cooler temperature (for Arizona), and their perfect outfits were nothing compared to how much fun I had with these two. Not to mention we all went to Corona! They started dating their junior year of high school, dated long distance, graduated college, bought a house, and now they get to finally seal their love forever. And I get to be there. Is this real life?! Kelsey and Rick, I’m so incredibly excited for you as you begin the wedding planning process, and start this amazing time in your lives.
