Ashley & Nikolas’ Glowing Engagement

She wore a royal blue cocktail dress with fluttered sleeves, her blonde curls cascading down her back, her ring finger bare as she chatted with friends. But that was about to change! Her closest friends and family were there, celebrating Ashley’s graduation from ASU, complete with her name in sparkling gold letters and a custom cake. He held it between his fingers, the glittering ring that would soon change both their lives forever while her dad gave a toast in honor of this huge accomplishment in her life. Nik jumped in to throw her off guard, saying there was a question he had been wanting to ask her for a long time. All the ladies in the room gasped, and she threw her hands over her mouth in surprise. Her eyes filled with tears, the joyful emotion rolling down her cheeks as he slipped the diamond band around her finger. And just like that, the page was flipped in the next major chapter of their lives!

Ashley and Nik are such wonderful people individually, but together, they are exquisite. They are so different, yet they complete each other perfectly like a puzzle, and I loved finding out so many new things about them throughout their session. Ashley and I met years ago through a mutual friend in the world of dance (which is actually a small world where everyone knows one another). We even went to Disneyland together with friends, and we laughed at their session about how much life has changed since then! And how much it will change just in a year, since their wedding is this September! I can’t wait until then you guys. What an privilege to be there for such a sweet, intimate time. Congratulations Ashley and Nik, here’s to so many more amazing changes to come!
