“There’s a lot of beauty in ordinary things. Isn’t that kinda the point?”
It’s funny how some places can mean so many different things to different people, and the attachment to those places is so vastly unique from person to person. For example, Starbucks to some may be the most necessary stop of their day, giving them that extra push to get going in the morning or afternoon. To others, it’s a place where you meet an old friend, or bring your kids for a special treat. To me, it’s a place where I can get my work done to get out of the house. To Amy and CJ, it’s where their lives changed forever.
It was almost if this place was meant to have some type of special meaning behind it, reminding them every time they stop in to get a iced mocha where it all began. So many months ago on their first date when an ice cream shop was closed, and they made it a “plan B” so they would get to know each other inside the coffee shop. It sparked something so magical, and that’s why I’m lucky enough to write these words today. And it’s where I first met Amy & CJ and heard their sweet engagement story and plans for their wedding next year! So it was only fitting that we incorporated Starbucks cups into their engagement session months later, and it’s something I will remember forever! Amy and CJ, I had the most incredible time with you two at your session! From the wind blowing by the water, to running through the street to get the perfect shot, it was a day I will never forget! I can’t wait to watch your relationship grow throughout the next year and long past your wedding day. You two were absolutely meant to hold each other forever, and the way you love one another is simply enchanting. And to think, it all started with a cup of coffee.
