Kevin & Sarah’s Classic Fuchsia Estate Wedding

She came around the corner, her white veil dancing in the wind as the sun hid behind the clouds. She squeezed her brother’s arm tight as she stepped forward with a smile so big and eyes so full of love, it made my heart flutter. Kevin gasped as his bride walked toward him, in moments that felt as though they were in slow motion, yet passed by so quickly he didn’t want to blink. And when he did, her hand was in his, and they took in these quiet moments before they would say their vows. And before they knew it, they blinked again and were walking arm in arm, as husband and wife, walking into the new beginning of the rest of their lives.

Kevin and Sarah’s wedding was a complete dream and their loved ones were so welcoming, treating us as if we were part of the family. From the moment I stepped into the bridal suite surrounded by girls in purple robes, I knew that the day would be exquisite! The lavender and fuchsia petals adorned the tables and bouquets so elegantly, highlighting the tall centerpieces and floating candles. The girls wore floor-length flowing plum gowns that told a beautiful color story against the charcoal groomsmen suits. The vision was almost as timeless and perfect as the bride and groom’s adoration for this day and for their families. These two live to serve others, and to love each other. He served our country in the past as a Marine, and in the present as a police officer, while she gives back as a nurse. These two devote their lives to protect those of others, and there is nothing more admirable than their commitment not only to the people they don’t know, but to each other. Because they know when they come home after a long day at work, the other will always be there, and there is nothing more comforting and beautiful than that.

Kevin and Sarah, I am so completely blessed that I was able to witness you two tie the knot, and it is truly a day I will never forget. I’m so happy for you and I can’t wait to watch your love grow and your lives flourish. Kevin, never stop dancing like no one’s watching, and Sarah, never stop giving him funny nicknames! Your love of laughter will keep your love young forever, because it all goes by in the blink of an eye. And when you do blink and your hair is grey, always remember this beautiful day and how spectacular it really was.
