She slowly slipped the clean white dress on, her girls zipping it up the back to a perfect fit. After all was fluffed and primped she turned around and saw her reflection, letting out a content sigh. It was absolutely stunning, and her groom’s mother would have loved it. Of course we all knew she was in that room by the way the breeze gently blew the white curtains and the sunlight gave the walls a soft, warm glow. And as her picture graced the wall, her beautiful dress that she wore on her own wedding day was worn for a second time and brought to life in Taylor’s reflection in the mirror. This dress was her something old, something new, and something borrowed. As Kendall turned around to see his bride for the first time wearing his mother’s dress, he gasped, and it was an experience more special than anyone could have ever known. It’s moments like these that they will hold onto for the rest of their lives, until they hug their loved ones again one day. Moments that absolutely take my breath away, and it never ceases to amaze me that I get to experience them with my couples.
The rest of their big day was nothing short of incredible, from the dusty blue and gray attire to the peach florals and green succulents that accented the ambiance. Even her sparkling ring was peach, taking their coordination to the next level! The champagne glasses and bubbles made for an elegant cocktail hour in the glowing sunset, and they danced under the stars and off into a dazzling sparkler exit. It was oh so perfect, but nothing made me look twice more than the way these two love each other. The way they are together, it’s almost as if they are one person, complimenting each others movement and fitting so naturally into each others arms. It’s as if they are more themselves and in sync when they are together than when they’re alone. I couldn’t help but stare, in the best way possible. Kendall and Taylor, never lose the way you look at each other, almost as if you’ve known each other your whole lives. The way you hold each other as if you’ve never held another’s hand, and you will never have to. I’m so happy for you and I know your marriage will thrive and grow, and I can’t wait to witness it. Cheers to being #tayken2016!
