John & Christine’s Elegant Black Tie Wedding

The doors opened, letting a burst of air in as the drapes fluttered and the evening sun peeked through. They stepped out, one grouping at a time, wearing gorgeous black gowns and dresses, as he awaited for her to emerge in a white one. They kept stepping out onto the grass, white flowers in their hands, and his eyes stayed fixed on the curtains as everyone rose to their feet. The seconds seemed to tick by in slow motion, each one longer than the one before, as if the hands on the clock didn’t care to consider his anticipation. Her father’s hand popped through and drew back the curtain, and time stopped completely. His face lit up as her eyes found his, and he had never seen anyone so beautiful in his life. He had been able to see her earlier that day, and that was an incredible moment in itself, but this. This was the moment they had been waiting for, planning for, dreaming about for their entire lives, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. And every moment that followed was everything they could have ever wished for and more!

John and Christine’s entire day flew by all too quickly, and their regal reception was a step back in time to black suits and jazz. Between toasts that had us laughing and crying and dancing to the incredible live band, every guest had a smile big enough to give them sore cheeks. The metallic accents that adorned the classic white tables were enhanced with mercury candles and fluffy white flowers. The Frank Sinatra vibe of this sparkling soirée rang true with every crystal glass and every popping of a cork. Around every corner was a special homage to late loved ones and family members, and the ones who were there in person could feel the ones who were in spirit. I couldn’t believe how much love was overflowing from the room, and the warm glow emulated from every window as guests laughed the night away (especially when John sang on stage). I was utterly blown away by how much fun these two have together, and how incredibly unique they made their day to them. I will never forget all the laughs I’ve shared with these two, and I know their love story is truly one for the ages!
