They took to the empty dance floor with no one else around, surrounded by the perfume of sweet flowers and the fizzing sounds of servers pouring champagne into crystal glasses. The sun was dipping low behind the horizon, and he twirled and dipped her so effortlessly as the rehearsed their choreographed first dance for their guests. They had been married for a matter of minutes, and with each spin he smiled and pulled her back in, as if he couldn’t stand the distance between them. Her sparkly heels clicked on the wooden floor as they practiced, and it was such a beautiful moment alone after an emotional ceremony. Curious hotel guests peeked over their balconies and smiled at the stunning couple as they swayed in their special dance, and though it was quick, it was a moment I will never forget. The first thing they did as husband and wife alone was danced…What a way to begin a beautiful life together!
Haley and York’s wedding day was filled with so much joy, and so much love, I can’t help but smile to myself when I think back on it. Between their personal vows and seeing each other for the first time that day, they were so blessed to have multiple quiet moments with just the two of them. It’s so important to me that couples receive those special embraces with no one else around, because a wedding is supposed to be personal, right? It brings you to the true meaning of all the planning and hard work; their union. And speaking of planning, the ladies of Some Like It Classic knocked Haley’s blush and deep blue vision out of the park! From flickering candles to florals cascading down from glass vases, their twinkle light reception was more romantic than I ever though possible. The cool grass under everyone’s feet was a sweet relief from the warm Arizona day, and it was a night filled with dancing and happy tears! Haley and York, I can’t believe I blinked and your big day came and went! This has been such an incredible experience, from our first meeting to your stunning engagement, I can’t wait to see what life has to offer you two. I know through every twist and turn, you’ll be in it together, dancing through your new forever.
