Denise & Phil’s Classic Plum and Pastel Wedding

It was there, under the Carlsbad stars that he pulled out the most beautiful ring she’d ever seen, and asked her to be his wife. She couldn’t say yes fast enough, and her heart skipped a beat as they took in this perfect moment and their futures began to unfold before their eyes.”

I absolutely love the story of how Phil asked Denise to be his bride, almost as much as I love Phil and Denise themselves. These two have a love that gives them an infectious warmth, and they hold each other close as if no one else exsists. I can’t help but smile when I see them together, and watching them become husband and wife made my heart happier than they will know. Their day began with the girls getting ready, and it was filled with so many special moments! Denise and Phil’s wedding party consisted of their children, and their union was made even more unforgettable as their kids stood by them at the altar. Watching Denise’s daughter, Sarah, help her mom button her delicate dress and fluff her perfect white skirt was so heartwarming, and their love for each other is too sweet for words. Phil helped Denise’s son, Scott, pin on his groomsmen boutonnière while his two sons, Dan and Cameron, buttoned their jackets and tightened their ties. To be surrounded by close family the entire day and no one else must have been simply wonderful! The reception was no exception, as the dance floor was full with the wedding party and close friends. Laughter could be heard at every moment, and my cheeks were sore by the end of the evening. Phil and Denise, you two are so genuinely kind and your day was absolutely beautiful! I’m so thankful to have witnessed your love story unfold, and I can’t wait to see the progression of the next incredible chapters!
