Amy & CJ’s Colorful Fall Wedding

His hands covered his mouth and his eyes grew wide, almost as if he was afraid to blink so he wouldn’t miss a single moment looking at her. The sun was sinking lower as she slowly stepped toward him, casting an orange glow on everything it covered, mimicking the bright orange flowers she held. Arm in arm with her parents, she stepped closer, smiling as if no one else was around but him. His eyes filled with tears, overwhelmed with excitement, still in disbelief that this moment was finally here. And though this moment seemed to pass by in slow motion, at the same time it was over within seconds, but it’s one that neither of them will ever forget.

Amy & CJ are two of the sweetest, most genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure of befriending, and capturing their bright, modern wedding was such a privilege. With a rare September day in the 80 degree temperatures, it was so easy to enjoy every aspect of what their union was all about, their love. I truly believe God blessed me with these two knowing I would be capturing their wedding while in my 9th month of pregnancy, because it was one of the most laid-back weddings I’ve ever been to! We were AHEAD of schedule the entire time, and all you other photographers out there know this never, ever happens! It was so wonderful not having to watch the clock so closely, and Melissa with Moelleux Events was absolutely amazing as well! I’m so thankful to have ended my season (of physically shooting) for the year with these two, and I couldn’t be happier for them! Amy & CJ, here’s to enjoying all the Starbucks dates for the rest of your forever, and to no more wedding planning! 😉 I just love you guys, and I can’t wait to see what your future holds.
