Our Baby Shower

It’s so surreal to me that our baby shower has already flown by! I feel like I’m just now taking it all in because the day was such a whirlwind, in the best way possible. I walked in to the room having no idea what to expect, and immediately started crying because I couldn’t believe how beautiful it all was, and all for our little girl. I’d like to blame the hormones, but I know I would have had the same reaction either way 🙂 From an oversized balloon installment, a polaroid book, “Mom-mosa Bar” and beautiful flowers and furniture, by heart was racing with excitement. No detail was spared, and I loved how guests got to leave with a bath bomb, from my shower to theirs! #yourethebomb. Q even has some personalized blocks in her room now, and every book from this day was signed by someone I love. There are no words.

I have to give a special thank you to so many people, first Leah with Tremaine Ranch who designed and created so many amazing, custom aspects to this day. She is so talented you guys, and the glassware, furniture, and decor was something most people have at their wedding! If you ever have any type of event, you are crazy not to hire her! And a huge thanks to her husband and business partner, Matt, for set up and tear down of all the furniture in the triple digit temps. I also want to thank my sister for all her hard work and time spent to make this day extra special and extra “me,” along with my mom to help cover financial and memorable parts of this day! I know first hand how much work goes into these things, and I’m so grateful for their help. I also want to thank Jenna with SoHo63 for being so accommodating and helpful, and Danielle Apple Photography for collaborating with me and taking gorgeous photos throughout the shower! You ladies are amazing and I appreciate you more than you know! And of course, my husband Jerrin for helping set up and load up, and for surprising me right before presents started! I was kind of in shock when he walked in, and it made my day more than anything else to have him there (while It’s Raining Men was on full blast haha)! It took EVERYTHING in me not to start bawling!

When I think of how many wonderful people our daughter is going to have in her life, I can’t help but smile. I am so blessed to be able to call everyone who was there, and those who were there in heart, my friends and family. I can’t express how blessed I am to receive all your sweet gifts and kind words for Quinn, and I can’t wait to have you all around her as she grows. We’re getting close!

By far my favorite part of the day, when Jerrin made a surprise appearance!

I was just a little excited…
