Emma & Taylor’s Colorful Scottsdale Engagement

There were so many people around, but you would never know it. These two were in their own little world, taking in every embrace and laugh, holding onto this short time as an engaged couple. The sun was sinking fast behind the Scottsdale mountains, illuminating her hair with a soft orange halo as her curls danced in the cold breeze. We smiled as they told me their love story, how Taylor took her to the Scottsdale waterfront, nervously looking for his queue to get down on one knee. They were celebrating his birthday, so Emma had no idea it was happening that day, which made the surprise so sweet and unforgettable. And as we explored around the colorful buildings and bright flowers at their engagement session, I fell more in love with not only their love, but their friendship. When you marry your best friend in the whole world, there is nothing more exciting! And that’s why I am so incredibly elated to be capturing their gorgeous wedding in the Fall, filled with many more laughs and unforgettable moments! Emma and Taylor, you remind me so much of my husband and I when we experienced this season in our lives, and that’s yet another reason that this time for you is so dear to my heart.
