Ashlee & Nick’s Cozy Desert Session

Something I absolutely love: photo shoots “just because.” There are so many reasons to take photos; most people schedule them to commemorate special events like weddings and birthdays, engagements and family reunions. But when you decide to preserve a time in your life, simply to capture the essence of who you are at that time, is really something to celebrate! And admittedly something I wish I was better at myself! It’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle of life and to make excuses not to have photos taken. I’ve heard them all, and used them all myself. But here’s the thing, you’re never going to look this way again. You’re going to look in the mirror, even just months from now, and seem a little different. There’s never really a good time, but I promise you it’s so worth it to take an hour out of your day to preserve memories forever! Ashlee and Nick, I’m so thankful for your friendship and that I was able to capture this season in your relationship! Between the stunning mountains, glowing sunset, and your beautiful smiles, I consider myself so lucky to have the job I do. As you go through life together, never get too busy to capture your love and your family, because it all goes by so fast.
