Tracy & Kyle’s Crimson Fall Wedding

The light reflected off the water behind them as the sun peeked in and out for the clouds, slowly dipping lower behind the purple mountains. The breeze rustled through the flowers held by every bridesmaid, contrasting their burgundy dresses so perfectly on this first weekend in October. Tracy and Kyle held onto their white vow books in front of everyone they loved more than anything, and each read their personal promises to each other through tears. This moment was so beautiful, my favorite of the day, not just because these two shared the most beautiful words. I loved this memory mostly because I caught a glimpse of Tracy and Kyle’s moms watching in the front row, listening to the profound words of someone who cares for their child in a way they could have only prayed for. I continuously pray for my daughter’s future spouse, so seeing their mom’s sweet faces as they listened was so touching as their dreams for their baby’s futures were confirmed in front of their eyes. And when these newlyweds sit in the front row at their kids’ weddings one day, I know they will yearn for vows like these to be meant from the bottom of both party’s hearts, and it will bring them so much joy.

Tracy and Kyle’s wedding was not only visually breath-taking, but so full of warmth and genuine happiness from every person who was lucky enough to be there! From the moment I stepped in the bridal suite, I was surrounded by those who were so excited to be a part of this special day. Being the first Saturday of the Fall season, their deep red, classic pallet was the perfect way to ring in the best time of year! And their flowers, eek! Crisp whites mixed with soft pastels had me drooling, especially during the reception as everyone chatted at their tables. Oh, not to mention that adorable donkey who I wanted to adopt into my family…sorry I kept touching your ears little guy. They were just so soft! I highly recommend every wedding to have a beer burro during cocktail hour, just the best! Also, the groom had an outfit change into a burgundy tux, and it absolutely gave me life! Such an amazing touch for the second half of the celebration, way to go Kyle! But in all seriousness, these two have my heart. It was such a privilege to stand by them as their lives changed forever, and I will always remember this day. Tracy and Kyle, I want you to forever look back on these memories and read your vows often. I know when you’re rocking in your chairs with deep laugh lines one day, you’ll look back and think of these crimson reds and black bow ties, still crisp in your minds no matter how much time passes. I know you’ll smile and never forget how you said your vows and never knew just how true your words would become. And that is a beautiful thing my friends. So here’s to the exciting road ahead!
