Larissa & Donald’s Neutral Modern Wedding

“Yes!” she excitedly squealed, as she smiled bigger than she ever thought possible, her hand covering her mouth in surprise. The sun was dipping behind the horizon, turning the sky a pale purple while reflecting yellows and blues off the water like a glassy watercolor painting. He rested there on one knee with her hand in his, a stunned look on his face as he laughed. She repeated herself three times, and he still couldn’t believe what was happening until she finally bent down on her knees in the sand with him and took his face in her hands. “I said yes!” she giggled as they held each other tight and realized that this beautiful moment had actually happened. Dolphins (yes, realdolphins) were swimming just feet from them in the calm ocean waters as he slipped the stunning diamonds on her ring finger. And there, on the surreal white beaches of Australia, their lives changed forever.

Fast forward to the most beautiful day of 2017, where the clouds were rolling and the wind blew through Larissa’s veil, keeping the temperature perfect for all of their out of town guests. Who came all the way from Germany. GERMANY! Talk about a destination wedding! I couldn’t get over how meaningful Larissa and Donald’s reception was, and how perfectly them the entire day was. From dancing into their ceremony to a special handshake after their first kiss, every moment was a beautiful representation of their love. There was even a video of their friends in Germany who couldn’t be there, wishing them all the best from across the sea. I’m so incredibly happy for these two, and I’m so blessed to know them. They are two of the sweetest, most genuine people, and I can’t wait to see what their future holds. Thank you for letting me be a part of the #lutzgetmarriedinaz celebration! Cheers!
