All that could be heard was the graceful symphony of guitar strings and the sniffles of everyone who sat silently witnessing. Alex and Jordan’s closest friends and family surrounded them with arms outreached toward the soon-to-be husband and wife. Their heads were bowed and their eyes closed tight as tears fell from many of their bridesmaids eyes, and mine. Every person with hands on them, or who shared in this moment prayed for their union, and for the years to come in their marriage. It was as if time stood still, and you could feel the words being lifted up in that room with every breath you took. It was a sacred, beautiful moment in their ceremony, and the entire reason they had gathered their loved ones to share in that day. These were more than just words, they were everything that marriage means to Alex & Jordan, and I felt so blessed to witness and join in this prayer. It was something I will never forget.
From the moment I met Alex and Jordan in December, I knew that their love was something so special, and their relationship consists of three beings instead of two. They keep God in the center of their lives, and it’s so inspiring and such a reminder of why I love marriage so much. Their sweet spirits are also intoxicating, and even when they have curve balls thrown their way, they take it with such grace. Like our cloudy engagement session that turned out more beautiful than I could have dreamed, or our change in plans on their wedding day that would have had any other couple beyond stressed… But they rolled with the punches and smiled, knowing that it all didn’t matter, and this was about so much more than pretty flowers and fancy dresses. Not to mention they are the real life Ariel and Eric, and their sunset portraits had me swooning! Between her porcelain skin and his blue eyes, it was a photographer’s dream come true! Alex and Jordan, I can’t wait to see what your marriage brings in your lives. Until then, enjoy this time of newlywed bliss and always remember these special moments on your big day, because they really do mean everything. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Bosin! #beautyandtheboz
