Danielle & Michael’s Autumn Engagement Session

I love you to the stars…

Everything was pitch black, the darkness blanketing the aspen and pine trees around them, their presence felt but not seen. The stars that sprinkled the sky glistened above them, the mountaintop elevating them that much closer to the spectacle of shimmer that contrasted the night so vividly. It was a June evening in Flagstaff, Arizona, and they were on their final stop of the night after visiting their favorite restaurant in town. They had decided to drive up the mountainside to see the stars, after a day of attempts on his part to make romantic stops, though this seemed so perfect for what he had planned. She was sitting on the roof of the car, and he was standing in the car with his torso through the sun roof, right next to her. She couldn’t see him, but his words rang through that quiet Summer night so clearly: “Will you marry me?” Their hands found each others’, and they took in this incredible moment, knowing nothing would be the same, in the best way.

Danielle and Michael’s engagement story was so beautiful, and their engagement session was equally romantic! Glowing light, beautiful weather, and a grand finale with wild horses in the distance…magic! I absolutely cannot wait for their big day next year! Danielle and Michael, you two are so perfect for each other, and seeing you together for the first time was such a privilege. Every kiss and embrace was electric, and your smiles sparkled more than the stars did on that June night. 😉 Congratulations you two, the best is yet to come!
